Where to get trick room in black 2

I f you let Gliscor use substitute your opponent is go ing to stall out your Trick Room turns and you will be using all of your Trick Room turns up just to find a Pokemon on your team who has a super effective move to break Gliscor's substitute.

Speed Limits to Trick Room Even though Trick Room lets slower Pokemon go first there should be a speed limit to how slow your sweeper should be. Base 80 Speed in my opinion is the limit to how slow your sweeper should be. Base 80 Speed is pushing it too fast in Trick Room, because when you have a sweeper with a Base 80 Speed even with -Speed Nature, slower Pokemon with a speed stat of and lower will go before you under Trick Room.

So if you have a Dragonite on your team just remember Slowbro will always go before you. Stealth Rock is necessary with Trick Room teams b ecause your sweepers will have a much easier time getting those crucial KOs.

Plus entry hazards wear down your opponent's Pokemon greatly as the match progress, so the longer you keep your entry hazards on your opponent's side of the field you will notic e your opponent's Pokemon will be easy targets for priority moves. Trick Room Pokemon that can set u p Entry Hazards. Hide If your looking for a way to intergrate weather into Trick Room this sample team will be a great starting point for you.

Nice guide! I have to add that the Regis are definitely not to be overlooked though! Well, except for perhaps Registeel which I feel works better outside of TR teams.

I've had success with using Regirock and Regice under Trick Room. Once the low speed factor is removed from the equation, you're left with a pokemon who's secondary defenses are rather respectable at worst, jaw-dropping primary defense, and a primary attack stat high enough to punch holes in teams when used in tandem with their great coverage. One of my opponents had to learn this the hard way.

His last words: "lol regirock" I'm actually still trying to work out the kinks in Regirock seeing as how it's primary coverage moves lack perfect accuracy, but here's what I'm working with right now:. You should mention Xatu as a decent TR user, it can't be taunted after all.

I think you're forgetting to mention Marowak as a decent Trick Room sweeper. It has Thick Club like a Choice Band but can switch moves , is Groud Type resists stealth rock and has a good coverage. Audiosurfer I'd rather be sleeping. In case you wanted another sample team, Celestial Beings is an amazing showcase of how a good Trick Room team functions.

Since you wrote sample teams I figured you might want a 2nd one. Audiosurfer said:. Bumping for more advice. There are several stylistic, grammatical, and capitalization errors that you need to fix, but apart from that, this article is very good. Two things, content-wise: First, make sure you write something about Conkeldurr.

Second, Xatu is a great TR setter because it cannot be taunted. That base 95 Spe becomes an advantage because it becomes "slow" under TR and can U-turn out to a sweeper untouched. Finally, under counters to Trick room, I don't think you should encourage anyone to go for a triple protect except in emergency circumstances.

One way to counter it is through something that I will call pivot switching. You send in Tyranitar. You then switch out to a Tentacruel to take the focus blast for minimal damage. You then protect, and then send out Tyranitar again to take the Psychic. Of course, this is risky, but has always been, for me, one of the best ways to simply stall out the Trick Room.

Ace Trainer. You should also mention, about Rapid Spinners for Trick Room. Ace Trainer said:. I've added a few recommended sets to certain Pokemon. I've still open to suggestions to help with this guide.

This is a really good guide Sciztar. You explain very well the points you need to help a person who is trying to make a Trick Room team. I like the idea you started on adding Recommended sets on the Trick Room users.

You should also mention some types of teams that are threats to Trick Room. Other than that this is a really good guide. A lo tof people will greatly appreciate this guide when this gets put on Smogon. Victini deserves a mention as a Trick Room setter. Superpowerdude said:. Now that Garchomp is back in the OU, you can add him as a late game sweeper.

I have a Bronzong evd from PT that I could use. I might actually use that Snorlax set too. Any opinions on Emboar though? Conkeldurr is fun, especially since you wouldn't have to teach him a priority move under TR.

User Info: 2dividedby0. All help with this is appreciated :D Go for speed lowering natures and 0 speed ivs. Maybe get a speedy outlier for when TR isn't up. User Info: Shadow Conkledurr and Throh are close, they have 45, so they may work nicely too and give you good Fighting options. But don't overlook Stunfisk! Life is tough. It's a lot tougher if you're stupid. User Info: Ventanrex.

Something like Arcanine could be useful on your team. A person is a person, no matter how small. More topics from this board Where can I find the Running Shoes?
