Who is gogeta dragon ball

While fighting Broly, he shows a complete handling of the situation, always keeping himself a step above his opponent to ensure that he never loses the upper hand. He is also quick to deal the finishing blow, being more than willing to erase Broly from existence with the Full-Force Kamehameha before Cheelai intervened with Shenron.

However, he is able to change his mind in an instant because when he saw Broly was transported away, he decided not to use Teleportation to kill Broly since he was no longer a threat to earth and even stopped Freeza from killing Lemo and Cheelai. This shows Gogeta's top priority is Earth's safety and only kills when someone poses a threat to the planet and will cease trying to kill them the instant they are no longer a threat. In base state, Gogeta's skin is darker in tone, a trait he inherited from Vegeta.

His attire is the standard outfit beget by the Metamoran Fusion; a vest, white gi pants, a dark blue obi tied to the side, and black shoes with dark blue wrappings.

The primary difference is the vest's coloration, being black with yellow padding, rather than the dark blue vest that Gotenks wears. Despite being formed by different methods, neither Gogeta nor Vegetto are the others' superior.

Both fusions are equally-matched in strength. He is also incredibly fast, able to outpace Broly 's onslaught of ki -based attacks prior to transforming. His mastery of martial arts allowed him to soundly outclass Broly during their bout both in speed and combat technique. Notably, Gogeta favors a martial arts style that relies heavily upon powerful kicks; but that does not make his punches any less devastating, as he was able to knock the wind out of Broly with a crushing punch late in their battle.

Using a combination of these techniques, Gogeta essentially dominated the mutant Saiyan during their brief confrontation. Gogeta is the fused product of two master martial artists, and two of the strongest fighters within the 7th Universe. As such, his ability to mold ki and utilize it in fighting is greater than the sum of his parts.

Gogeta makes an appearance during the end of the movie. After Goku defeats his first form, Janemba transforms into his Super form and becomes too powerful for Goku to defeat. Even with the help of the recently deceased Vegeta, he can not kill the demon. So, Goku quickly teaches the Fusion Dance to Vegeta. The Fusion Dance must be performed correctly to create a very powerful symbiotic warrior, so when Vegeta fails to extend his index finger properly in the final step of the dance, this results in a much weaker fusion warrior named Veku.

Veku is no match for Janemba, and for thirty minutes he frantically evades the demon's attacks in comical fashion, clumsily stumbling and passing gas as part of his defense. The second time around, and with the assistance of Goku's ally Pikkon , the Fusion Dance is performed correctly, and Super Gogeta appears.

After an amazing display of speed and power , Gogeta finishes Janemba off with the Stardust Breaker. With the elimination of the negative energy that had created Janemba, the creature reverts into the young ogre , Saike Demon , who ran off in fear after he made eye contact with Gogeta. Gogeta laughs in amusement, watching the boy running off. Later, Goku and Vegeta defuse and bid farewell to each other for the time being.

Well then how about Gokuga.. How about Gogeta? Gogeta is born during Goku and Vegeta's desperate attempts to fuse to gain the upper hand on Super Saiyan Broly. The two Saiyans fail twice before succeeding, and their new fusion wastes a bit of time trying to think of a different name other than Vegito , since that was the name for their Potara counterpart.

A miffed Piccolo yells at the fusion to hurry him along, at which point he decides on "Gogeta" and uses Instant Transmission to return to the battlefield. Upon doing so, he is confronted by a battered Golden Frieza , who demands to know who Gogeta is. Gogeta replies that he is the fusion of Goku and Vegeta, explaining to the tyrant that he is far stronger than their power combined and that he'll deal with him later.

He teleports again to halt Broly's battle with Whis , telling the angel that he can handle it from here. Whis lets Gogeta resume the fight for him.

The fusion beckons for Broly to attack, which Broly easily complies with, though Gogeta immediately displays a clear advantage over the berserk Saiyan, effortlessly dodging and blocking nearly all of his attacks.

Soon enough, Gogeta decides to turn Super Saiyan to continue the battle , fighting evenly with Broly until his Super Kamehameha connects with Broly's Gigantic Omegastorm , shattering reality itself and sending the two into an entirely different dimension , where Broly powers up into his Legendary Super Saiyan form.

After being briefly overwhelmed, Gogeta responds by unleashing Super Saiyan Blue , once more assuming a gigantic domineering advantage over Broly and clashing until they break back into the real world. Gogeta continues dodging and blocking Broly's attacks , flipping over his Gigantic Breath and battering him from behind with God Punisher before seemingly finishing the berserker with a Stardust Breaker , dealing significant damage that Broly recovers from thanks to his overwhelming stamina and defense.

Gogeta smirks, but notices the appearance of Shenron and quickly changes his attitude. Broly rises from the crater left by the Stardust Breaker, drastically powering up and desperately trying to damage Gogeta in any way, but the fusion's unprecedented and overwhelming strength leaves Broly beaten badly. He kicks him around, sliding past Broly's massive beam to pummel him further and unleash his Meteor Explosion attack point-blank, creating a huge mushroom cloud and severely wounding the berserk Saiyan.

Even the spectating Whis voices his admiration of Gogeta's strength, declaring the Saiyans' fight as good as finished. With Broly beaten back into consciousness, Gogeta begins to charge the Full-Force Kamehameha , while a frantic Cheelai makes a wish on Shenron to send Broly back to the planet where she and Lemo found him. Broly became terrified by Gogeta's killing intent and overwhelming aura. As the Kamehameha nears Broly, the Saiyan is warped to Vampa at the last second, leaving the energy wave to shoot off harmlessly into space.

Gogeta is momentarily confused, but smiles and dispels his aura. Almost immediately thereafter, he confronts Golden Frieza and prevents him from shooting down the small spacecraft that Cheelai and Lemo were using to leave Earth by catching his arm.

Frieza drops out of his Golden form, recognizing the consequences of fighting back, and leaves with a threat that he will eventually return and conquer Earth, quickly departing and eliciting a small chuckle from Gogeta. Main article: Dragon Ball Xenoverse. Together with the Future Warrior they defeat Dark Omega Shenron, however before they can finish him off all three of them are swallowed up by Demigra 's Wormhole.

However the combined might of Gogeta and the Future Warrior proves too great for even these 3 powerful villains and they are defeated. Afterward Gogeta compliments the Warrior on their strength before defusing. Main article: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Gogeta appears in a scenario involving his showdown with Broly, in which Fu locks him out of Super Saiyan Blue and forcing him back to his base form to make his fight with Broly more evenly matched.

He receives support from Caulifla and Kale later fusing into Super Saiyan Kefla and remains eager to continue the battle. Unfortunately, the fight had been drawn out to a point where Gogeta defused and Goku, Vegeta and Kefla were all overwhelmed by Broly's continuously-growing power.

Later, Fu would summon Jiren to fight Broly in Gogeta's stead. When the Grand Minister increased the power of Note's team, Gogeta used the opening blasts of his God Punisher to deal Beat and Vegito a hefty blow, before the two were healed by Yamcha and won the match by beating Note with a counterattack. Main article: Dragon Ball Legends. The three battled against the rebellious deity but their efforts were futile. During the battle, Goku prompts Vegeta to fuse but Zamasu disrupts the two, until Super Saiyan Blue Vegito arrives, saving the three and prompting the chance for the two to fuse.

After the defeat of Kid Buu and Broly, Goku and Vegeta fuse and become Gogeta to fight Gotenks at the World Martial Arts Tournament , and easily beats them and complains their attitude is becoming similar to that of Mr. If Gogeta wins their battle, Vegito declares his power is unbelievable and that he won't lose the rematch.

Gogeta reminds him that they can't have their rematch immediately, knowing his fusion time is nearly up. Vegito jokes that because of his infinite fusion time at the time Potara Fusion had not been given its one-hour time limit for mortals , he wins by default, with Gogeta replying that's not fair. If Vegito wins their battle, Gogeta wonders aloud how Vegito would explain himself to Chi-Chi and Bulma afterwards, leaving his Potara counterpart flabbergasted. Gogeta chuckles that they could be one big, happy family, but Vegito isn't so sure about that.

Gogeta only appears in a What-If scenario as, during the Buu Saga, the player is able to choose if Goku and Vegeta are going to fuse through the Potara earrings or the Fusion Dance in order to defeat Super Buu after he absorbs Gohan.

While inside Super Buu, Goku suggests to Vegeta that they fuse again through the use of the Fusion Dance, suggesting that the fusion's power would be capable of defeating Super Buu without absorptions.

Old Kai was skeptical at the idea of a Fusion Dance between Goku and Vegeta being able to defeat Kid Buu, while he believed Vegito would be sufficient. According to Gogeta, he is capable of defeating Omega Shenron with a single finger if he wanted to. His ki control is so accurate, that he could change the nature of Omega's Negative Karma Ball into positive energy. As Gogeta took no damage from Omega Shenron's attacks, he was at least twice as strong as him.

Despite his obvious superiority over Omega Shenron, Gogeta's power ends up being his own downfall as the fused Saiyan's massive strength wears down the technique's time limit. In Dragon Ball Z: Fusion Reborn , as Veku he is able to survive a fight against Super Janemba for thirty minutes, even outrunning him at some points - though he is unable to deal any damage at all to the demon.

Gogeta is formed by Goku and Vegeta because of a desperate need to get rid of the pure evil Super Janemba. Gogeta easily defeats Janemba using his Stardust Breaker move. As Super Gogeta took no damage from Super Janemba's attacks, he was at least twice as strong as him. Though, it is unclear if he was referring to doing Potara Fusion or doing the Fusion Dance.

In his own Super Saiyan state, Gogeta easily matches Broly blow for blow before soon overpowering him with his superior fighting prowess, maintaining the upper hand and landing powerful blows that visibly rattled and injured Broly while only being hit once. In fact, his Stardust Fall was strong enough to cause Broly agonizing pain, forcing him to activate an Energy Shield to repel it. The clash of their energy beams is so immensely powerful that the two Saiyans are able to break through space and time, sending them to a different dimension entirely.

Even when Broly transformed into the Legendary Super Saiyan , Gogeta rapidly turned the tables with Super Saiyan Blue and proved to be able to decisively overpower the titanic foe, who was utterly unable to hit him.

Gogeta's speed was such that Broly could not react to his attacks and after their initial exchange Broly was already exhausted while Gogeta had not lost stamina. Even after the berserker withstood Gogeta's incredible assault , Gogeta continued to pummel him with never-ending attacks, constantly breaking through Broly's defenses until he nearly killed Broly with his Ultimate Kamehameha, even shocking the berserker back into partial sanity in the process.

His power was enough to earn the praise of Whis, deeming his attacks as "truly magnificent". After the major ordeal, Gogeta foils Golden Frieza's attempt to kill Cheelai and Lemo, with the space tyrant opting to retreat, knowing full well of the fused Saiyan's might. In the manga version while Android 17 and Piccolo are not present against the final battle against Ultimate Godslayer Hearts, Hearts proved to dominate Goku, Vegeta, Hit and Jiren in his Ultimate Godslayer form, proving every single one of their attacks ineffective by repelling them and forcing a massive force of gravity on the 4 as to make them not be able to stand up to defend themselves as he fires a God Meteor on them forcing Goku and Vegeta to rely on the Fusion Dance to battle against Ultimate Godslayer Hearts.

To give Goku and Vegeta enough time to move to perform the Fusion Dance within the time he can manage, Jiren powers up into his Super Full Power form and stands up, using his ki to repel the gravity that is restraining them while Hit uses his Time-Skip to sneak up behind Heart to put him in a Time Prison to distract and stall Heart for a brief moment, prompting Goku and Vegeta, already at Super Saiyan Blue, to successfully fuse into Super Saiyan Blue Gogeta.

In the midst of Gogeta's transformation into Super Saiyan Blue while in his base form in the anime, Gogeta's energy was intense enough to cause the gathered Z Fighters to stumble back.

In the anime upon his confrontation and engagement against Hearts in battle, the fused warrior proved to be more than a match for the foe, able to calmly dodge and repel everything Hearts launched at the fused warrior while simultaneously landing blows that visibly injured Hearts.

Remaining completely unfazed by the power Hearts was using to summon his God Meteor, Gogeta was able to hold back the attack using a tremendous Big Bang Attack, forcing Hearts to power up to maximum.

Though he seemed to only be able to match Hearts fully-powered God Meteor with his Ultimate Kamehameha, his attack was primarily what destroyed albeit with assistance from Hit and Jiren it, and powering up to the max, he was able to swiftly defeat Hearts afterwards, overpowering Hearts' punch with his own in a trade-off and subsequently defeating him and shattering the Universe Seed with a second blow.

Enraged, Hearts decides to power up into the the full extent of his power that he obtained through the Universe Seed and fire cube projectiles at Gogeta only for Gogeta to effortlessly be able to dodge most of the cubes from hitting him until one of the cubes expands and was able to catch him off guard trapping him inside of a gravity prison and prompting the other cubic projectiles to hit him, causing an explosion.

However, Gogeta comes out still unfazed and not physically injured from the explosion and proceeds to fire an Ultimate Kamehameha at Hearts, simultaneously engulfing Hearts with the God Meteor that Hearts fired toward Earth.

In the manga version, Gogeta did not need assistance from Hit and Jiren and his Ultimate Kamehameha was strong enough to destroy the God Meteor by itself and kill Hearts at the same time. During the aftermath, Jiren goes on to ask Gogeta on why his fusees never fused into him during the Tournament of Power, implying that Gogeta would have been a massive threat to its contestants, including Jiren himself.

Later against the Crimson-Masked Saiyan , after the foe channeled enough energy from the Pseudo Universe to obtain his final form , Goku and Vegeta accepted that their combined efforts wouldn't be enough to face the foe. When Crimson's advanced healing proved a problem, Gogeta used Super Saiyan Blue Evolved, able to inflict damage too fast and intense for Crimson to keep up with before finally being killed by the fused warrior. During a special event celebrating the 11th Anniversary of the game and debuting the newest episode of the promotional anime's second season , a new Gogeta form has been revealed.

As we had seen before, the Limit Breaker versions of the Super Saiyan 4 gives the form a dramatic boost of speed and strength. It's akin to the godly ki power the main universe Goku and Vegeta have access to though no official connection has been made just yet , and even needed a special ritual from the Saiyans to get Goku and Vegeta to this level.

This new limit break and golden aura Gogeta power are in no way part of official Dragon Ball canon - but it is both a logical next step and fan-service payoff for where the canon has currently left Gogeta. Ironically enough, in the actual Dragon Ball Super manga storyline currently running, Goku and Vegeta have never been further from achieving new Gogeta power.

The two Saiyan warriors have embarked on diverging paths of developing their respective abilities: Goku is mastering the angels' zen-minded power of Ultra Instinct; Vegeta has unlocked that wild abandon power of a Destroyer God in Ultra Ego.
